Field Notes
This is where we think out loud.
Field Notes is the working journal of Lennon Tree, a small team that grew tired of waiting on other people's software and started building its own. Every tool here comes from the same place: a real job on a real site, a wall we couldn't get over with what was on the market, and the decision to grow the thing that fixed it instead of renting a compromise. These notes are that story, told as it happened, one problem at a time.
They are opinionated, occasionally rough, and written by people with no special right to be telling anyone how this is done, beyond the small matter of having actually done it, on real sites, at real scale. Some entries pull back for the wide view of how the whole thing grew. Others go under the bonnet on a single tool: the problem that started it, what we built, and what it taught us.
The organism is still growing, so the journal is never quite finished. That is rather the point. New entries land as new things break ground.
